Tips to remove insecticide stains from fabrics:
Sponge the area with a dry-cleaning solvent, spot lifter or afta cleaning fluid. Then apply a dry spotter to the mark and cover with a porous pad moistened with dry spotter. Let it stand as long as any mark is being removed. Alter the pad as it picks up the stain. Keep the stain and pad damp with dry spotter. Flush with one of the liquid dry-cleaning solvents. If any stain continues, sponge it with water and apply soaked spotter and a few drops of ammonia. To remove insecticide satins form acrylic fabric, cotton, linen, nylon, Olefin, polyester and spandex at first sponge the area with a dry-cleaning solvent and then repeat the above process to clean the material. Flush with water and allow drying.
Remove insecticide stains:
1. Acrylic plastic, aluminum, bamboo, cane, cork, glass, linoleum, paint, plexiglas, polyurethane, porcelain dishes, porcelain fixtures, stainless steel, vinyl clothing, vinyl tile, vinyl wall covering
Wipe exterior with a cloth or sponge dipped in warm water to which a few drops of ammonia have been added. Wash well and wipe dry.
2. Asphalt, bluestone, brick, concrete, flagstone, granite, masonry tile, sandstone, slate, terrazzo
Wash the stain with a solution of washing soda or detergent and water. Use a cloth or soft-bristled brush. Clean thoroughly with clear water and allow drying.
3. Leather, suede
Combine a solution of mild soap in lukewarm water. Rustle to create a great volume of suds. Apply only the foam with a mop or cloth. Dab with a clean dry cloth. If a grease stain remains, dust the area with an absorbent like cornmeal. Give it plenty of time to work and then gently brush it off. Repeat if essential.
4. Wallpaper
Wipe the part with a cloth or sponge moistened with cold clear water. Overlie the strokes to stop streaking. With a clean cloth, softly pat area dry.
5. Wood
Blend dishwashing detergent in hot water and rustle to make a great volume of suds. Dip a cloth in only the foam and apply to the stain. Clean with a clean cloth moistened with plain water.
Tips:
