However, even in such case the plumber's or plumbing contractor's help will be required for installation.

Again, it is difficult for the homeowner to adjudge the quality of the plumbing parts since he is a layman in plumbing matters. So, even if the homeowner may obtain the plumbing parts at a cheaper price than what the contractors offer he may unknowingly make compromise on the quality.
