This type of net is much easier for younger kids to climb. However it limits the ability to go in and out of mesh openings. With good instructions and care the kids can perform good net climbing in the backyard. Any and all climbing activities require the use of mats, spotting and supervision. Mats are probably the single most important ingredients to any activity using equipment to prevent serious injuries when accidents may occur. A soft landing mat must be used under and around each climber and other matting around climbing net. Having several thick landing mats placed around nets will make instruction much easier and more innovative. These mats are versatile and can be used in many capacities for the safety of the kids playing in backyard.
