Liquor Cabinet

Liquor cabinets can come in various sizes. Though Cabinets are designed and used for various applications, a liquor cabinet is basically a bar. It is a special piece of furniture solely to store liquor such as the various wines and alcohol beverages along with the related bits and pieces of things such as glasses, ice buckets and stirrers.

History of the Liquor Cabinet

The liquor cabinet became popular in the United States in the early nineteens. The cabinet was invented to disguise alcohol when prohibition was imposed. Therefore liquor cabinets made around this time were inconspicuous and quite often appeared are parts of larger pieces of furniture, such as hutches and vanities. One such cabinet was made to appear as large chest with four small cabinets, but in fact had a liquor cabinet stored in the middle two cabinets. Stocking the liquor cabinet

The first thing to do is to select a few favorite cocktails. There are thousands of cocktail recipes that are simple to make and serve such as a mudslide, a gin and tonic, and a Long Island iced tea.
