The hot bath tubs are common in the spas and a lot people are also using the hot tub at home. There are specific rules about the temperature in the hot water tub but most of the people do not know about these rules. The temperature which is prescribed by the United States consumer protection safety commission is 40 Celsius or 104 Fahrenheit for the complete safety. There is a strict punishment for the spas for not following these rules. The reason of the temperature limit is that there are a lot of risks involved, including the drowning if the excess temperature is used. The temperature can vary according to the tropical condition of that place.
The risks of the excess temperature:
There are a lot incidents have been recorded because of the high temperature of water. Last year there were hundreds of incidents recorded because of the hot water tub. Most of these incidents were because of the excess temperature of water. The excess temperature of water can lead to the sleepiness and unconsciousness that can eventually lead to the drowning. Besides drowning there are some other risks. If you are entering into the bath tub after a long workout than the hot water in the tub can raise your body temperature to a dangerous levels and that might cause a serious problem. There are some other health related problems which are caused by the hot water such as dehydration, lightheadedness, nausea and extreme weakness. The pregnant women are advised to consult the physician before entering into the hot tub.
The safety precautions you must take before entering into the bath tub:
The temperature of the bath tub must not go excess of the prescribed limit. It is advisable to not to enter into a bath tub after a long workout but to take some rest and warm down. If you enter the hot tub after the heavy workout there is a serious chance of the heat stroke. Pregnant women should avoid using the hot bath tub.
