Having mini sprinklers
A mini-sprinkler stake includes an extended ground-penetrating stake having an adapter for permitting easy and reliable mounting and replacement of mini-sprinkler units. A new and improved mini-sprinkler unit having a novel tree deflector is also disclosed, the mini-sprinkler unit having a separable nozzle element and dual pattern deflector element, one deflector surface of which includes a recessed for producing a generally V-shaped spray pattern for effectively and efficiently watering the root zone area of a tree.
Fun for the children with sprinklers
Recently it is advised to the parents to make sure children get an hour of physical activity each day to fight obesity. That is 60 minutes or half-hour of physical activity. Back to back. Every day. But the hour of sweat does not have to be spent doing timed sprints. Exercise can be accumulated in short bursts, through games that the parents and the kid can enjoy. For any individual child, the key is to get them to do activities that are fun so they will be interested and want to do more of that activity. Walk the child to school or the bus stop or in evening make them play with the sprinklers to water the plant. It is enjoyable as well as good exercise too. The game can get kids as young as to moving and help them learn to embrace an active lifestyle. Other fun ways to help kids stay fit, some of which even their parents might enjoy are the backyard plantation and water them with sprinklers.
Play is free
Kids do not need expensive equipment or even an organized sport to have fun playing outside. A simple game of tag or hide and seek or even playing with sprinklers will do the trick. Encourage them to make up their own wacky games and challenge them to invent a game using two everyday playthings, such as water the plant in the backyard with sprinklers. Sprinkler Splash is the best on a hot day, turn on the sprinkler and challenge kids to duck the droplets and touch the sprinkler without getting wet by snake crawling through the grass on their stomachs. Or set up a tug of war over the sprinkler and tell them that first team to get wet loses the game. These all are the ways to use sprinkler in the backyard for the children and have fun.
