Dimensions of picture frames

Dimension is a relative phrase. The effect of the image on the retina of the viewer is governed by the dimension; the viewer views the image in. Mathematically, the dimensions rise in number and, so does the effect. The perception of the human eye, the parallax associated with the realization of the image, till it is properly comprehended and lodged in the human psyche, for what it is in reality, all contribute to the true dimensions of the picture, or image. Choosing the best picture frame amongst the many that are available is very difficult from that which is available in the market.

The physical side of the dimension phrase.

The image that exists within the border of the frame is of paramount importance. The phrases, portrait or landscape mostly explain the outcome of the dimensions of the frame. The human eye puts the pair that is the image and the frame into relevance and the resultant effect is that of balance. One judges the image by its surrounding or environment or the backdrop. Once the tempo sets in, the entire collage becomes an experience to live by and all this setup rests solely on proper dimensions of the frame. Neither an inch more nor an inch less than what is necessary, is what, the frame dimensions must be and should be.

The dimensions are measurable. The unit can be proportionate or termed as scale. Length and breadth define the two dimensions that place an n image into a plane. A plane is and intersection of two faces or planes that are perpendicular to each other. The term depth comes into play when third dimension is concerned and the depth element comes into play. The third plane is again perpendicular to the rest of the two and is supposed to have the origin common, the point where all the three planes intersect or meet each other simultaneously. Dimensions in a way create the effect, may it be a 2-d effect or a 3-D effect, the end result being the one of total oneness with the image in the frame. .
