Movie plot

The heroine Samantha Baker, Sam, is about to turn sixteen. She's a high-school sophomore with a crush on Jake Ryan. Jake gives Ted the occasion to spend the night with his drunk friend Caroline, of whom he breaks off on friendly terms.
