Buying a hot tub
Experts opine that since, in water, our bodies are only about one-tenth of their weight in water, the muscles and ligaments can relax because they do not need to support that weight and a hot tub can prove specially relaxing for soothing those worn out muscles and stimulate blood circulation throughout our system. If that is not reason enough to buy a hot tub, how about the keeping up with the Jones' factor as the winning one gets to add a hot tub to enhance your yard and add value to your home; the fun and serenity bit for the body and soul aside!
Purchasing guidelines for hot tub enthusiasts
Hot tubs can be bought from garden centers, home improvement centers and specialty spa stores and come in several ranges of size and features, from small units that seat two people all the way to large models that can seat a wedding group. Well, maybe that's not the right picture to paint, but it does seat several. The price tag is largely determined by the size of the hot tub and most people who are budget-conscious prefer going in for a four-seater hot tub. But for the more indulgent, there are those firms that happily finance these deals for you and yours without asking for a high down payment- its just a matter of researching a bit for them and seeing which one suits you best.
Types and features of a Hot Tub
Take the time to scout around for a comfortable hot tub; most showrooms allow you to try out their tubs before you buy, if only just to assess the noise level, jet pressure and capacity of the investment you are going to make. Wood, acrylic and fiberglass are the popular materials used and the acrylic ones are durable, attractive and require less care than the others
Placement of a hot tub
It is important to decide where you are going to place the hot tub before purchasing it, privacy being the main concern for many. If the yard has high fences or an enclosed balcony, this may be ideal. If not, the garden can also be a convenient and aesthetically appealing place for the hot tub to reside and for you to relax after a long day of work
